Welcome to the Aquatica Swim Academy Blog

First things first: WELCOME! At Aquatica Swim Academy, we LOVE swimming and want you to too! Our recent launch has been a whirlwind of excitement, and we’re thrilled launching our first blog, where we’ll be talking all things swimming, health and children. We’re delighted you’ve decided to join us on our journey!

But first… A little about us

Aquatica Swim Academy is a boutique swim school specialising in teaching children water safety and survival skills. We’re family owned and operated, and pride ourselves on our personalised and tailored approach. Our educational, innovative and enjoyable programs bring the best out of every little swimmer! Our indoor pool located in Caringbah, has a comfortable water temperature and a welcoming environment, making it possible to swim all year round. We only offer small class sizes; Babies and Toddlers up to 6 in a class, Learn To Swim up to 3 in a class and Stroke Development up to 4, with no more than 2 classes per time slot and guarantee personalised attention, allowing our teachers to give your little one the devotion they deserve.

Our teachers have not only acquired their Swim Australia or AUSTSWIM licence, Working With Children Check as well as their First Aid and CPR accreditations, they have also undergone our own rigorous in-house training under the guise of Australian swim coaching legend: Laurie Lawrence. So its fair to say, we’re fully equipped for the job!

Introducing Weronika

Weronika is both the owner and head teacher at Aquatica Swim Academy. At the young age of five, Weronika discovered her passion for swimming. She fell in love with the sport and soon began training with her local swimming club and competing in school carnivals. Weronika holds a Bachelor of Science from Jozef Pilsudski Academy of Physical Education in Warsaw, Poland and is a qualified swimming coach and instructor, water polo and snowboarding instructor, and PE teacher.

Weronika has worked as an assistant head coach, teaching swimming and water polo at Sydney’s prestigious Ascham School where she has coached the gold medal winning Junior School swimming team. Her experience working with many of Australia’s most renowned swimming coaches and learn to swim teachers, inspired Weronika to use her passion of swimming to educate and develop confident swimmers.
